Allan Eisenkraft, president of Yonkers
Industrial Development Corporation, has been a real estate professional for over
44 years.
He cut his teeth for many years as a broker and redeveloper of commercial and industrial
real estate before beginning the development of his two major Nepperhan Avenue enterprises
in 1978.
Allan is an active member of the Westchester County Board of Realtors, former Treasurer
and senior member of Westchester County Society of Real Estate Appraisers, past Chairman
of the Industrial Development Committee of the Yonkers Chamber of Commerce and a current

Association of CCNY, as well as a board member of the City College Fund.
We are also active in placing
tenants in storefronts in Yonkers or Nanuet wherein lies our expertise. Many of our
assignments come from professional or trade organizations or Governmental Agencies. |

Decades of experience with tenant
relations, and a distinguished history of public service
|
Allan has served
on the boards of numerous community service organizations, including the Westchester
Division of the Jewish Guild For The Blind, The United Way of Yonkers, The Jewish Council
of Yonkers and the Yonkers Heart Fund. He is co-founder and twice-president of the
Rockland County YM-YWHA, and a member of the board of the Nanuet Hebrew Center and
JAWONIO, Inc.
Says Allan: "In today's tough environment, business owners/tenants
require an
owner/manager's full attention! YIDC's on-premises owner/management has been structured to
ensure that the facility is managed in a first rate manner at all times. Today's building
owner cannot just sit back and collect rent.
He must play an active role in the success of those individual businesses on
which he relies for the profitability and success of his building or business center. Such
assistance to a tenant just might make the difference between a business success or
failure. It is not just making sure the elevator and the heat are working, or keeping the
roof from leaking. The business of serving tenants today should be a partnership between
the business tenant and the landlord." |
